I'm a Creative Entrepreneur who received a BFA in Film, Video & New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My imagery is inspired by the American and Social Realism art movements of the early 20th Century, evoking a visceral connection of character and story through light.
I work closely with the client and/or Director from pre-production through post-production. After our initial meeting, I like to start every project by storyboarding and developing shot lists for production. My previous responsibilities include ordering and testing camera + lighting equipment, supervise plus direct a camera & lighting crew, Steadicam operating, Jib + Crane shots, Dolly shots, and editing visual elements using Adobe Premier + AfterEffects.
I emphasize creativity, the story, attentiveness, composition, lighting, quality of image, and most importantly communication. By treating people with respect, developing relationships and applying my experience and time in the customer service industry I am equipped to handle whatever is placed in front of me with courtesy and grace.
